Documentary of Synthesizer Museum

Quite lovely documentary with lot's of fantastic vintage synthesizer gear. Quite low budget production and vintage haircuts, but that only adds to the charm. The huge Analogue Systems dates this to mid 90's?

Studio Electronics Boomstar

The most interesting synthesizer news so far form the musikmesse must be Studio Electronics release of four new desktop synths. They are all identical apart from the filter which feature, Moog-, Arp-, SEM- and TB-style filters. At a price of 799 dollars each they enter the market at roughly the point of Minitaur, Minibrute, etc. A place getting pretty busy at the moment. But the Boomstar 4075 with the Arp-filter sure seems interesting.
